Surakarta, January 5, 2026 — SMPI Al Abidin Surakarta officially opened its PRA KBM (Pre-Teaching and Learning Activities) with a meaningful first day designed to support students’ mental well-being and academic readiness. The program began with Dhuha Prayer and Qur’an Recitation, fostering spiritual calm and positive energy before academic sessions commenced.
The morning continued with a Welcoming Briefing delivered by the School Management, introducing students to the school’s vision, values, and expectations for the new academic year. This session aimed to build motivation and a sense of belonging among students.
A key highlight of Day 1 was an inspiring Talk Show titled “Mental Health for Teens: Be Kind to Your Mind”, presented by Dr. Ernawati, S.Psi, M.Psi. The session raised awareness about adolescent mental health, encouraging students to recognize emotions, manage stress, and cultivate self-care habits.
The day concluded with an Academic Session Overview, where students were introduced to the curriculum structure and learning approach for the upcoming year. Through this holistic first day, SMPI Al Abidin Surakarta reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing students’ academic excellence and emotional well-being.
